Our story begins in 2004 along the side of Occoquan Road and historic Richmond Highway. It was here where Almita’s opened their doors for the first time. Since then, our looks and space have changed through the years, and we have grown to receive thousands of customers every year that become part of our business family. In everything we do, we are always dedicated to Our Mission: to provide the experience of eating fresh food with the house made taste of being back in El Rancho, right here, to the people of Woodbridge. It takes many hands to produce the perfect flavor. Still, one mind who travel from the hills of Aguas Calientes to the coast of Veracruz and moved to historic Northern Virginia still creates the mix and magic of every recipe we cook. Today, we are committed to the highest standards of quality and service, embracing our heritage while innovating to create new experiences to savor. Every day we come to work hoping to do two things: prepare fresh food with the best taste on every plate and give the warm, welcoming environment that our little “casita” provides, one person, one plate, one table at a time. It was true when Almita’s first opened almost 20 years ago, and it is just as true today.
